If Cantonese food is what you're craving, look no further than Lei Garden. Enough Said.

Many have hailed this restaurant as the unequivocal champion of Dim Sum in Beijing, and it's no secret. The weekend crowd is unbelievable, so make sure to secure your reservation beforehand -- and it won't hurt to pre-order some of your favorite dishes so you don't miss out on the goods. Speaking of which, we recommend the following:

Crispy Roasted Suckling Pig - The most succulent, flavorful side of a baby pig you'll ever eat. Sure, Wilbur was cute, but let's be honest; pigs are food, not friends.

Steamed Roast Pork Buns -  Sometimes the best things in life are the simplest. You'll find these in any Dim Sum restaurant worth it's salt-- but Lei Garden's pork buns can't be beat.

Egg-custard Buns - Make sure you save some room for these little pieces of heaven. Careful, these WILL burn your mouth if you get too excited. Which you will.

If you've got a taste for exotic (and ethically questionable) cuisine, Lei Garden offers the traditional selection of Shark's Fin, Abalone, and Bird's nest delicacies as well - - just be prepared to pay the premium.

Lei Garden's prices in general are higher than average, but well worth the toll; you'll be assigned your own personal manager whose sole responsibility is to ensure the quality of your dining experience, and the waitstaff is efficient to the extreme.
