If you suddenly develop a craving for Spanish tapas, all you need to do is head to Nali Patio in Sanlitun which is where many of the top Spanish restaurants in the city have decided to crowd themselves. But Migas is clearly king of the mountain, both in reputation and in location (top floor). Helmed by a former protégée of the legendary Adrian Ferras of El Bulli, Migas takes its menu offerings seriously with ever changing menu items and not one but two kitchens – the central open air kitchen and a test kitchen to experiment with new menu additions.

But lest you think Migas is all about serious cuisine, think again. The restaurant is designed for sensory overload, from brightly colored furniture and paintings in the dining area to the gorgeous rooftop deck with its egg shaped seats and cabanas. On summer weekends, Migas's rooftop is the best scene in town with breathtaking views of the city, great music and a good-looking crowd. Migas also recently opened for brunch to rave reviews.

So is Migas a spanish restaurant, bar, brunch spot or party central? It's whatever you want it to be.
