You’ve been going hard all week, walking miles in exploration of the city that goes all night. You’re probably hungover, bone-tired and possibly jet-lagged. At times like this, the basic down and dirty foot massage joint probably won’t do and you should head to Ten Feet Tall. The decor is tropical and is intended to take you away to a zen beachside retreat – each private room is designed for ultimate relaxation with temperature control, mood lighting and Apple TV set-up. Their specially is the pressure point foot massage although they have a variety of treatments including full body massages. Their starting pressure is pretty strong and might make you wince a bit but take it like a grown-up – your feet will thank you for it later.
The best part is that unlike the basic foot massage places in town, you can get your feet fondled while sipping on juice (coconut water anyone?) or even munching on dim sum (they have a lunch special). Good to go solo, with friends or even with a large group as they have plenty of beds and lounges. If you’re trying to pamper yourself on the cheap, this may not be the place for you but if you want an elevated experience and think your feet deserve it, point them to Ten Feet Tall.
