A bright pink neon sign beckons. Like a moth to flame, you find yourself lured in and soon ordering enough baos to feed a small village. Welcome to Little Bao, where Chinese and American culture collide resulting in a cool fusion of burger and bao.

Served on signature white bao buns and with well-curated ingredients, these baos elevate the diner burger synonymous with American dining. Braised pork belly, Chinese black vinegar glaze, and fennel salad are the cooler cousins of a beef patty and condiments. This reinterpretation is led by chef May Chow (also known for Happy Paradise) who sees the restaurant as a celebration of her Chinese identity.

Chow’s strong vision is reflected in the menu and in the restaurant’s branding. Its open kitchen encourages a laid-back vibe and remains a popular spot for the young hip crowd. The restaurant even sells shirts with the face of Little Bao himself. It’s hands down the coolest place to grab a bao and a drink before going out on the town!
