Chugging along the streets, a white van covered in graffiti signatures has been a welcome sight for residents and visitors of North Shore. For almost 22 years, Giovanni Shrimp Truck has been serving delectable and hearty platters of shrimp and rice. Now with two trucks operating in separate locations, there’s plenty of opportunity to chow down.

The menu is limited but for good reason. The family-owned business has spent the past two decades perfecting its recipe, even winning competitions for its marinades. The first item on the menu is what made them famous: the shrimp scampi covered in garlic. Other options include the popular lemon butter and spicy. They come with shells on (that’s where all the flavor is) so you’ll have to do some work but the reward is great. Bring a few extra napkins; don’t say we didn’t warn you.
